Wills & Probate
We are able to assist with:
- Preparation of Wills
- Administration of Estates
- Probate
- Intestacy
- Power of Attorney and Court of Protection
For many people making a Will is something that can be put off to a later date. It is, however, essential that everyone does make a Will to ensure that their property and possessions are dealt with as they would wish and not under the Intestacy Rules, which can of course have serious and unwanted consequences.
We are also able to provide advice to Executors and Administrators in dealing with the administration of an Estate, including preparing the tax returns and papers for the application to the Probate Registry. We provide this advice in an efficient but sympathetic manner appropriate for what is obviously a delicate time.
Regrettably many people will have relatives who either are aware that they need assistance in dealing with their affairs or who are in fact already no longer able to look after their own affairs. At Glaisyers we are able to provide advice on Powers of Attorney applications or applications to the Court of Protection to be appointed as a Deputy on behalf of a relative.
